In order to accommodate the increased demand for Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville tickets — up 25 percent from last year — this year’s festival will be expanding into a portion of the EverBank Field grounds. The expansion into EverBank Field also led to a new partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville’s relationship with SMG Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Jaguars includes hosting various onsite activities during the festival. SMG Jacksonville manages six sports, entertainment, and convention venues on behalf of the City of Jacksonville. In addition, the partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars prompted the Ultimate Rock-N-Jock Experience contest. The winner of the Ultimate Rock-N-Jock Experience and three friends will receive a backstage tour at Monster Energy Welcome Rockville; four VIP tickets to the festival; a meet & greet with the band Hatebreed; a Jaguars jersey with Hatebreed’s name on the back, autographed by the band; VIP experience at the Jaguars’ Draft Party at EverBank Field on Thursday, April 30; a locker room tour ; four Club-Level tickets to a Jaguars home game of their choice (excluding London); and four on-field pregame passes and a Jaguars football autographed by Denard Robinson. To facilitate festival attendees’ movement between Metropolitan Park and EverBank Field, Gator Bowl Blvd. will be closed at the boundary of Lot TT from 6 p.m. Friday, April 24, until 2 a.m. Monday, April 27. The new scenario will expand the festival’s capacity 25 percent, from 40,000 to 50,000, over the two-day event. The lineup for the fifth annual Monster Energy Welcome To Rockville, held April 25 & 26 at Jacksonville's Metropolitan Park, includes Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Slipknot, Korn, Godsmack, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Ministry, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Of Mice & Men, and many more.
